I cant say enough good things about Amy and Linda. Theyve helped me make it through tough times of clogged ducts, thrush and more when I felt like giving up. They focus on both mother and baby, making sure both are thriving. The level of care they give, knowledge they have along with kindness, empathy, and compassion far exceed others. Hands down, the best.

Highly recommend BabyFirst Lactation consults for any mom with breastfeeding trouble!!! I am very happy with their services. Breastfeeding felt like an obligation in which I loved the bond it was creating but couldn't tolerate the long hours anymore. Linda RN was my lactation consultant. She came in for a home visit. She was very professional, friendly and caring! With Linda's guidance we went from: _ Using a nipple shield to help with latching _ Feeding none stop (with a few cat naps during the day) _ Not being able to build up my stash because I would use the milk I pumped during the day to feed him full at night. _ Back pain and tears over my decision to continue with the breastfeeding and second guessing myself everyday. Being tempted to pump exclusively and give up on baby's latch. To: _ Latching without a nipple shield!! _ Feedings that last anywhere from 6mins-15mins ... average of 10mins _ I bought a new deep freezer because my stash doesn't fit in my regular freezer anymore _ I'm happy and bonding with my baby and enjoying spending every minute with him

Nurse Amy prepared me for the journey of breastfeeding in an easy to understand way. With my first baby I was hospitalized when he was six months old and my milk supply went down to almost nothing. She taught me how to rebuild it and he successfully nursed until eighteen months old. The things she teaches gives me the confidence to push through the hard parts and succeed!

Total lifesavers! Amy responded within hours of me reaching out on a Sunday, and Linda was able to come out to my home the very next day. The help, information, and techniques taught were truly invaluable. I was not about to see a lactation consultant in the hospital when our son was born so I was so surprised with what I didnt know and what I learned the first time Linda showed me. A few weeks later, Amy helped me schedule Linda to come out to my home once again; my son was going through a growth spurt and I had questions and again learned so much. Baby First Lactation is a great resource and Im so glad to have them available! Thank you Linda and Amy!
