I met Dr. Soufi in 2018 when I was admitted to the hospital for an incident where I had a seizure and was experiencing stroke-like symptoms. Dr Soufi was my neurologist and ran tests which determined the seizures were non-epileptic and nothing was wrong with my brain. For this reason, Dr. Soufi told me I had a psychological condition called conversion disorder, which I would later find out should not be diagnosed unless ALL testing came back as normal. For 1 year I had worked with both psychology and psychiatry and noone could control the seizures. It wasn't until I noticed the seizures happened around my period I requested I go back on birth control, which finally controlled the seizure. Over the next 3 years I have continued to have worsening migraines and other neurological problems such as zapping up and down my body which Soufi still continued to say was from conversion disorder and had the audacity to say it was all in my head while I suffered through high amounts of pain. My psychiatrist continued to grow more concerned about my symptoms and insisted I see a specialty facility. I was finally referred to Mayo Clinic by my migraine specialist, who was also concerned about the evolution of my symptoms. It has been discovered by the Mayo Clinic that I have dilation in the central canal of my cervical spine which has been the cause of my symptoms and explained why everything has been slowly getting worse. I am having more tests done to determine the extent of permanent damage to my nerves and to determine an exact cause of the dilation. Dr. Soufi is a fraud and if you are a female, is quick to assume you are suffering from mental illness rather than a physical problem. I highly do not recommend.

So pleased with the outcome of my visit to see Dr Sioufi. He was Kind and helpful and hid medical knowledgeable is impressive. Definitely glad I chose him.
