On Call Diesel Service

Had John out today to perform some Maintenance on our Class A Diesel Pusher Coachmen SportsCoach. John was very professional and very knowledgable, and was willing to do what was Needed on the Coach. He was very thorough and even noticed our coolant was a bit low so offered to top that off for us. He did an Oil/Oil Filter change on the Engine, Fuel Filter and Fuel Water Separator filter change, and the transmission filter change all on the Engine, then did a full lubrication of the Chassis front to back. Then also completed an oil/oil filter/engine filter change on the generator and cleaned out our spark arrestor. He was a pleasure to talk to and was willing to answer any questions we had. Very convenient to have an honest mechanic that can come to you and not nickel and dime you like some of these RV dealerships do. Kept the whole process very clean and didn't spill a drop of fluid anywhere on the campsite.Will definitely be having John come back for any of our Engine and Chassis Needs. John is the guy to call is you need anything done on any type of Diesel Engine, We will definitely be telling everyone about John at the campgrounds/RV resort in the area. Would Give a 10/10 if we could, but the highest rating for Sure!

Professional mechanic. Does what he promises, great communicator, and very knowledgeable. Rates are more than reasonable. Highly recommend... Our go-to-mechanic in Florida. Update 2024: I have had On Call Diesel work on our Dutch Star for two years, including preventive maintenance (oil changes for generator/coach, fuel filter changes, chassis lube) and repairs (suspension system/pressure senders, brake pads and drum, etc), but more importantly as a check on work performed by other mechanics were forced to use while on the road -- we threw a drive shaft in texas, where it was "repaired". Was not done correctly. On Call noted their error, Drive Shaft company confirmed the noted problem, saving is from damaging our transmission.

I emailed John about having some engine maintenance and diagnostic done on my Class A RV. He got back to me very quickly and we figured out what was needed. He was able to come out within a couple of days, and once he arrived we went over everything. He let me know that one of the items wasn't due yet and it would be an unnecessary waste of money. He diagnosed the engine and let me know what was needed. If I need any other work done while in the area, he will be my first call.

John is an excellent, responsive, honest mechanic. He diagnosed the problem with my Volvo heavy truck and fixed it quickly at a very fair price. I will definitely use him again. I am based in the area.

I had John out this morning to take care of a routine oil change in my gas class A. Scheduling was amazingly quick turn around and he arrived right on time. He was super friendly and chatted me up as I followed him around like a long lost puppy (sorry man!). We then moved onto an issue with my generator not starting. He worked methodically through possible issues and we ultimately found that the gas line was plugged by manufacturing mess at the RVs gas tank. He cut out the bad part and reconnected. Generator is working beautifully where before, when it did run, it would nearly die out (which I now understand was due to low fuel from this plugged line letting an inconsistent amount of fuel past it). 10 out of 10. Ive already asked John to come look at one more issue. Ill absolutely use him again. Friendly, professional, AFFORDABLE, and he knows his stuff!
