Dr. Kasem, is amazing. *Oficina Se Habla Espanol* He has been my dentist for 23 years. I was pregnant when a molar crumbled, I needed a crown. I called five different offices in Orlando, then I called Dr. Kasem's office. Doloris was my first point of contact, she was empathetic and extremely professional, I drive from E. Orlando for all of my dental needs. Dr. Kasem's attention to detail is impeccable. He has performed one dental implant, two inlays, and my most recent crown, which I unfortunately neglected. Dr. Kasem reminded me, please come see me for regular cleanings so we can address any issues before they get worse, he is kind and understanding. Thank you for your commitment to your profession.

It is an established fact that implant failures occur predominantly for two reasons. Defective implants and or surgeon error. Dr. Kasem, after being notified about a failed implant that he installed in my lower jaw, has refused to return my communication requesting compensation. It is painfully obvious that he has chosen to ignore his responsibility regarding this discrepancy. So, the question comes to mind. Does the good Doctor have a hole in his head, or does he have his head in a hole? Allow me to review my last few visits to his office for the sake of clarity and to illuminate what I would call his very inappropriate behavior. First comes the attempted placement of a guide implement that should have been tied to a piece of dental floss to allow it to be retrieved in the event it happened to be dropped down the throat. He failed to follow that one simple precaution and dropped it. It went directly into my throat and lodged about two inches down causing me to choke cough and panic, because it blocked my airway. Upon doing so, he and his assistant immediately moved away from me back towards the door. He left me to fend for myself, and it was only through the grace of God I was able to force the sharp object upwards through intense coughing, far enough for me to reach in and grab it. I ended up with esophageal lacerations that made it difficult to swallow for the next few weeks. I am very fortunate to have survived that episode but have been plagued with nightmares about it ever since. My last visit occurred because a piece of the lower prosthetic broke off the same day, he installed it. After reporting that to his office, he insisted that I come in so he could look at it. Shortly after arriving he started in with the rude comments and insults. He told me I should stop complaining because I was not going to get anything better anywhere else. Unbelievable. What kind of a professional does that? I am convinced he behaved in that manner to get me to leave and not come back, which I did. Since the purpose of social media reviews is to influence the decision-making process of others, I will leave it to those who read this post to draw their own conclusions based on my testimony. Everything I have stated is one hundred percent accurate. My advice to those who are seeking general or more complex dentistry services, is to go elsewhere. Otherwise, you could find yourself in the same horrendous situation, where you are forced to go to an oral surgeon to have an implant that has caused repeated infections, ripped out. Not to mention the thousands of dollars and multiple hours of intense pain, you would be forced to sustain to fix a major problem that should have never occurred. I give the Kasem organization a rating of one star, only because giving it zero stars is not an option. D. Josefczyk-RN, BSN

Due to HIPPA regulations, we cannot divulge information about your treatment. What can be said is that several major procedures were done for you at no charge. The implications you make in this review are false. Please provide documented facts to our office that the dental work you received in our office was not done properly. Your present dentist can provide that easily. Changing your mind later about the course of treatment you chose does not mean that your previous choice of treatment was not done correctly. No business can remove Google reviews. Google removes reviews that are false and that are against their policies. Again, your review is false. It is odd that you posted this review after 3 years.
