I feel compelled to share an experience my dog and I had at an appt at this clinic on 2/23/2022. I had requested an appt specifically with Dr. Metzler. I have since found out he has sold the business and apparently is not seeing patients. I advised the staff that my pup has fear aggression and to address him carefully. We went into an exam room and were seen by a temporary employee, I was told. Upon entering the room the first thing she did was stare him down. My pup lunged at her (14lbs) but I was able to control the situation. She put a muzzle on him and did a brief exam while he was freaking out. After the exam she adamantly told me to return my pup to the rescue that my health and well being were on the line. She also said there was something wrong with my pups brain and it could not be fixed. she then offered me a dog she has and said it would be a good match. This comment and her suggestions were extremely upsetting to me. I left the exam room with my pup crying and extremely upset. Yesterday I went to pick up a medication she had prescribed and a paper prescription for heart worm medicine. I met with a man who said he was the manager and began to share my experience with him. He proceeded to call me a liar; that what I was saying was impossible and that I was defaming this persons name. He very unprofessionally told me to leave, had his desk clerk void the sale of the medication and demanded I return the paper prescription. The desk clerk stood up to watch me look through my handbag and was pointing out possible papers it could be. At that point I was feeling very intimidated by the managers behavior and the clerks help. My advice is to choose very carefully where you take your loved ones, some are just terrible. I have left out their names for fear of repercussions

Not very friendly. Everyone was too busy to talk but laughed and chatted among themselves. Very unprofessional.I was looking for a new vet.I won't be going there.
