Clearwater Beach Marriott Suites on Sand Key

Beautiful beaches... white sand nice people

Great place. The concierge Mikel was awesome! Took care of us and made sure our activities were great. Pool & backyard jet ski was a plus! Nearby activities: Trolley into clearwater & marina was easy. Golf cart ride to the beach across the street perfect too. Also got a package from hotel for a day at Bush gardens. Food & drinks: Pool bar had great service,drinks & food.

We came during spring break because we had heard great reviews. I was so disappointed with our stay though. The one highlight was Mikel, the concierge. During our stay, our door lock was broke and maintenance was in our room during dinner prep time for 30 minutes, the pool deck was dirty, the chair seats on the deck were covered in sand, we called 4 times for conditioner to be refilled over 1.5 days only to be told on our final say that we can buy some at the mini store at the hotel and they couldn't tell us when room service could refill. There were people smoking in the evening on the pool deck. The noise with the unenclosed hallway entrances were challenging because you could hear every suitcase moving by in the morning. Our room was not stocked for supplies for the pull out bed and we had to ask for those. For the most part, we had one day at the hotel and otherwise avoided it. I will say rooms were clean and spacious and the lobby was clean. Probably my most disappointing Marriott stay ever, particularly as someone with Elite status. Nearby activities: Sand Key Beach is across the street and beautiful. There is a beach mat that you can roll a wagon or stroller if you have young children. There were no lifeguards when we were there.
