    These guys have a monopoly. I was 1 minute late when the guy was here to turn on the gas valve. He just put a no show note and left. Fyi. This is all after I paid 65$ for the activation. And they also charged 50$ for the no show. Worst customer service. But can't do anything. As a citizen of this country I have to pay fines and fees as demanded.

    Ive spent hours on hold with customer service trying to switch my account. Theyve sent technicians 2x to shut off my gas and admitted people spend multiple hours on hold waiting for a representative. They offered no solution and said I simply need to wait on hold for hours until I reach someone, or, get my gas shut off. Ive reported Clearwater Gas to the better business bureau with screen shots of the insane amount of time Ive spent on hold.

    I did call because we could see our gas bill increase as well as smelled some gas outside by the meter on a rusty pipe. About an hr after I had called they came out and determined it was after the meter which would require a certified gas plumber to come out. After I told them that we don't use the gas to heat the pool water they were actually able to cap off the line and saved me a bunch of money. (the line to the gas water heater inside the garage was perfectly fine and they could leave that one) Those technicians were amazing - great customer service.

    I have always had .outstanding service with Clearwater gas. Today I hadmaintenance performed on my tankless hot water system. The technician Marcos that came over was extremely knowledgeable very courteous and performed the job exceptionally well He asked me for an outlet because he didn't want to remove two of the outlets that I had for my cameras and I was so pleased that he did that because once the the connections to these outlets are removed they pose a problem. Thank you Clearwater gas for exceptional service and to the maintenance man Marcos.
