She has a bad reputation in the Al-non community for not being a true and professional addiction therapist. She does not focus on the addict's nature or see through their manipulation, but instead enables their behavior. As most of us know in the rooms of Al-non and the court rooms, reactive (to) abuse & domestic violence is real & common with dry & active addicts (who have not done the deep inner work). Be warned, she will tell her clients, it doesn't exist and victim shame the person they abuse. As far as what the other negative reviews said, the experience is the same. I do not recommend her. -posted from another account to maintain anonymity

From a legal stand point- If you are sent for an evaluation for counseling it means you are going to do counseling. These other negative reviews don't understand how the law works and what the state requires to satisfy their DUI or Substance use related requirements- Just know if the state sent you in for an evaluation...YOU WILL BE DOING TREATMENT.

I was directed to FocusOne through a hotline when I needed a substance abuse evaluation for a court case. I met Dr. Noll and talked to her about what I was looking for and my circumstances. She advised she just had a client for a similar issue and we set an appointment to do a formal evaluation. I paid the fee and met with her on eval. day where we talked for a little better than an hour. I liked her and I was delighted to find she was also a holistic therapist, which was ideal. She sent over a form to complete post session and advised that she would be in touch with me in reference to my evaluation. About a week later I reached out to Dr. Noll and could not reach her after a couple attempts on different days. I figured it was likely a matter of client volume until my lawyer contacted me. I had included his information in the form I received post session. It was my lawyer who advised Dr. Noll was calling for a whopping 14 sessions, to my surprise. I hadn't even heard from her not to mention the number of sessions seemed a bit excessive for someone who was racially profiled, pulled over for a broken spare mechanism and searched by dogs only to find a few joints, I digress. I finally heard from Dr. Noll the following day where she'd advised she'd talked to my lawyer and sent over my evaluation to my email. I did not mention the conversation with my lawyer instead I waited to read her eval. I NEVER received it. I thought about trying to obtain a refund as I felt like I'd been scammed. However, I acknowledge she did perform the service of sitting on the phone with me and asking several questions most of which where not based around marijuana which was why I reached out, alas, I'd already found another therapist. My last resort is to at least warn someone who may be seeking help and does not have $250 to lose. Doing whatever work necessary was never an issue for me, I would've liked to hear her findings in the evaluation she sent to my lawyer. I felt like I'd hired a team (lawyer and therapist) and one of my team members were working against me by leaving me out of the project details directly impacting me. PLEASE BEWARE, your experience may not be mine but I hope it helps when reading through reviews. - This post is made by an alias account to protect anonymity

I would give her a negative score if I could. Patricia Noll's "simple approach" is for the simple-minded. Don't waste your money or your time!!
