Contracted with Priority Marine Construction to build a small dock and install a boat lift and associated accessory items.Overall a bad experience and would not recommend doing business with this company for the following reasons:1. Twenty six weeks to complete a job that should have taken no more that 2 - 4 weeks. No planning, no apologies, and no explanations along with limited to no communication.2. The owner will decide how many holes were drilled (it's his way to pad the bill). with no check or balance and no discussion........he all but writes his own check!!The work commenced on the 9th November 2022 and was not completed until 26 weeks later on May 9th 2023!!After demolition of the old dock, I was informed that "there will be some drilling required" and that approximately 50%, of the 12 piling holes will require drilling, at a cost of $1200.00 per hole. The contract stated " If hardpan is discovered and drilling is required, additional charges will be required." Other quotes that I had received for this job stated an additional charge of $500.00 per pile if drilling was required, $500.00 seemed to be the norm. The final invoice charged me for 11 of the 12 holes requiring drilling. I disputed this number and reviewing video noted that one of the lift piles that had to be drilled to 12 foot depth took less than 20 minutes to complete and no sign of hardpan. They were drilling mud!! I stilled got charged $1200.00 for this 20 minute hole. Note that if hardpan was encountered you would expect drilling to take a lot longer than 20 minutes, in fact when the owner quoted $1200.00 per hole he stated that in many cases it may take 1 to 2 days to drill a hole........certainly not 20 mins!!!I received a final invoice before any of the accessory items had been delivered or fitted. I informed Priority Marine Construction of this oversight, but received little to no communication with regard to a timeline to complete installation or perhaps an apology or explanation as to why this occurred in the first place. To me it seemed that this was by design rather than an oversight, as it took another 19 weeks before we could declare "Job Complete", and only because I with held payment. The additional charge of $1,200.00 per hole is a rip-off considering other reputable companies in the area are charging far less, It would be more understandable if a hole takes an excessive amount of time to drill, and time drilling is used as the determining factor for additional charges. This company doesn't factor in time and apparently "hardpan" has no impact to the owner either!!!! I was charged for 11 holes which is total BS and 26 weeks to complete the job, most of which was spent not completing all of the accessory items!!!!

I highly recommend Priority Marine. On a scale of 5 being the best, I'd rate them a 10 on Quality, Permitting, Experience, Local Knowledge, Delivering the Project On Time, Follow Up, and Customer Satisfaction. They made the process stressless and transparent, and their work and service are outstanding and impressive, far above other companies I've worked with in the past. This property was under contract. We needed something last minute for the closing, and they jumped in even though they had just started their vacation. DEBBIE GARRIGAN Garrigan & Associates Realty Inc

HORRIBLE! They were hired to remove the boat lift and pilings and replace the pilings and re-install the boat lift. A normal person would read that as actually putting the boat lift back to how it was before they showed up. But what we ended up with was a bunch of cut electrical wires splayed out in all directions everywhere and the boat lift NOT re-installed. They just ripped them apart like they had no idea what they were doing, foolishly and carelessly. Exposed wires were left sticking out haphazardly and they said too bad, you should have read the fine print. According to their fine print "The price shown for this contract does not include permitting fees, electrical, plumbing, lighting, or any engineering or architectural fees.... blah blah blah". Yet the actual definition of re-installing is "to put in place and connect (machinery, equipment, etc.) again". So Priority Marine Construction contradicts its own contract by saying two completely opposite things. They also cited it was because some people have bad wiring - ours was not, as we just had our electrician out there in the past year so we could install lights and everything was 100% fine in our 5-and-a-half-year-old home! It feels very deceptive to have them agree to put the boat lift back in place and connect it but then not actually re-install it like contracted and instead shred our electrical equipment like a bunch of crazed gorillas ripping through a jungle, then point to the fine print saying they don't handle electrical. A serious contradiction! These guys suck! We ended up spending more money just to fix what they messed up. I DO NOT recommend them to anyone! PS- Regarding the Response from Owner..... "We're sorry you feel you had this experience".... seriously? We didn't "Feel" like we had this experience, we ACTUALLY had this experience and have the bills from the other company to prove it. They can also verify that your company basically destroyed our electrical system, you would not reinstall the boat lift you said you would, and they had to redo everything. We were also told by your company you would NOT fix the destruction you caused; therefore we did have to hire another company to fix what you did. Also, verbally telling us what you will do, versus having a contract that contradicts everything you say, is not very upfront if you ask me. How convenient that you waited 5 months before responding, knowing that we absolutely had the mess you made fixed by another company.
