    Great friendly business to work with. They did a great job on our flat roof. They kept us informed throughout the entire process from permitting to final inspection. Full transparency from comtractor to end user. We even had some concerns regarding some drip edge material and they performed the correction within 24 hours of us bringing it to their attention. They weren't the lowest bidder, but when it comes to your personal property and dealing with residential contractors, you get what you pay for. I would highly recommend spending a few extra pennies to have Tusk perform your next roof replacement or repair.

    I have to admit my experience with TUSK Roofing was like no other. From beginning to end their staff demonstrated professionalism and exceeded my expectation throughout the entire process. From the moment they walked into my home I knew they knew their stuff. They described what materials type were the least quality and also provided the top quality options. Mark and his team came out bright and early to begin the teardown process while meeting their deadline until the very end of the project. During the inspection process there was minor detail that needed to be addressed and Mark and his team immediately repaired it. I highly recommend Tusk Roofing for and will continue contacting them for any future plans in my home!

    EDIT: Re: TUSK's response to my negative review - it's completely expected. They're thrashing around like a wounded animal, making quite a few misstatements. FYI: I already received an estimate from another roofing company (within 1 day of giving up on TUSK). They are calling FEMA today to answer a few questions, and the process will continue as it should. That is all TUSK had to do - easy, yet they made it very difficult by putting it off. There was no "coordinating interviews" or the need for any "supplemental documentation," as they stated. Just dial the number, tell them you're my contractor, give them my ID, and answer a couple of questions about your estimate. NOTHING COMPLICATED.Yes, they did the estimate right away. But what good was that when FEMA denied me ONLY because TUSK missed their call and refused to call them back to answer some quick questions? I gave them the number on THREE separate occasions, and FEMA is open daily until 11PM. And yet, time after time, when I followed up to ask what happened, they still hadn't called them, instead saying they had been "trying." HA - "trying" is code for WE HAVE NOT BOTHERED TO CALL, since someone always answers the phone at that number. There is no "trying." Have some integrity and just tell the truth. TUSK was well aware from the beginning that FEMA was involved, and I explained the year-long ordeal I had been through. But I guess, as they've highlighted here so many times, since they were speaking to FEMA "for free" and not getting paid for it, they didn't consider it a priority. Well, guess what. This 5-STAR roofer immediately sent me an estimate "for free" and told me that he would be happy to call FEMA "for free" for the 5-minute interview that would finally allow my case to proceed, after almost an entire year of dealing with FEMA and the  extremely long waiting periods in between each step. I did not wait until it was "due to expire," as they said. Rather, I am at the final step, and these people were not taking it seriously. Ultimately, this very professional roofer will get my business, my awesome review, and my recommendations...and TUSK obviously will not. By the way, estimates are typically free, something TUSK seems to begrudge.The funny part is that TUSK employees said to me multiple times that they would do all they could to help. Riiiight. They should've told me that they would take forever since they were not getting "paid" to talk to FEMA as part of the estimate process, something they could have easily done. Utterly ridiculous. ****And by the way, TUSK, I'm seriously looking into how you got my original negative YELP review hidden.ORIGINAL REVIEW:  They are very unprofessional, do not keep their word, ignore messages. Don't waste your time on them. You'll never get that time back, and you'll be sorry. Now I have to start this whole process all over because of them. THANKS FOR NOTHING!! How many TUSK Roofing employees does it take to get something done? Apparently more than 3! I won't be wasting any more precious time waiting for them to do what they said they would.1
