Called Tues. 11/7 to get seizure meds for my stroke survivor son. Called Wed. 11/8 to check on them. Got a call back on Wed. afternoon that they were called in. Checked with pharmacy on Thurs. 11/9, they didn't have them. Called office again to be told they were requested through office in Malone and then would be sent to office in Chipley and then I could pick them up but not until Monday. Still waiting on a call that they are there. I have no idea why they were called in to Malone when my pharmacy is in Chipley. I could say a lot more but in the end it would not make any difference. People are either caring and concerned or they aren't. Needless to say, we will find another Dr. and hope that his staff has a bit more training.

left my uncle without anti seizure meds because they were incompetent and didnt have them ready before being closed on veterans day. my uncle IS a veteran and his injury is related to his duty. so nice to see where their priorities are. heres to hoping and praying he doesnt have any seizures during this time that hes supposed to be honored.

Maybe it is time to retire. We should be aware that a human being is not just complaining. We are looking for the doctor to care enough to reach out to a family dealing with a potential medical emergency due to the inability to get lifesaving medication in a timely manner. I lost my father a few years back to cancer. During the same time period I almost lost my brother to a massive stroke. It was no small thing what my family has gone through. His medication is not only necessary but vital to his life. I would appreciate if anyone would apologize or try to fix the error they did absolutely make. Just fyi, My brother was one of the first on ground and last out of Iraq. My father, was also a veteran. We are proud of what our family has done for our country. However, they did not stop fighting to celebrate a holiday created to honor them. It would be greatly appreciated if someone in that office apologized for such uncaring attitudes.

I can be sure the doctor knows when their care is below standards. But, if they don't know how uncaring and thoughtless their employees (receptionist) are, then the training is lacking and maybe the doctor and their staff should go work for someone else...or relinquish their license. When an elderly mother is taking care of her disabled, Veteran son, and the office says, "if he's about to have a seizure you should take him to the ER"...or cannot help with redirecting a time-critical prescription....and the doctor cannot make it right, it's time to at least Google search a new doctor. If you don't go elsewhere, you will risk the life of the ones you love.
