Lanark Village Boat Club and Marina

This boat club use to be very people friendly. For the past 2 years something or someone or maybe all involved have changed to being very mean to anyone using the boat ramp. I have heard 2 people involved in the lvbc cuss at people, threatened people in front of children. Nasty notes left on vehicles. Lvbc threatened to call people for no reasons. Not sure why they feel the need to treat people like this. Whoever is in charge or the community should get rid of all that are involved with this boat club and start with new people from top to bottom. They are losing members daily and if it's not changed they will have no members. Fix it or shut it down!!!

Unfortunately I’m letting my membership expire due to unprofessional conduct by management over minor misunderstanding. Verbally abusive, disrespectful, unkind and rude. Not the first time I’ve experienced this and recent incident went way too far. Wasn’t always like this, previous dock manager was excellent to work with, always helpful, courteous, respectful and even helped folks get their boats in the water. Can’t say I recommend this club today, maybe things will change but for now you are better off heading few extra miles down the road to Battery Park, much better parking and overall better facility with multiple ramps and better access.

Had a very delicious breakfast! I love the boat club. If you ever see the sign out in front that they are serving breakfast I highly recommend you to stop in!

I recently bought the annual pass for the boat launch. The staff are very friendly, helpful and courteous. They have everything you will need to go fishing, beer, snacks, tackle, bait, you name it they have it. The boat ramp is long and very well maintained. I love the floating dock as my whaler is small and low. The channel is perfect to come in and out even at low tide. Plenty of parking for your trailer.
