Stopped in on our way North. Wanted to stay a few months but they are waiting on permits to redo one of the section of docks. Help has always been available, great location, quiet and gorgeous sunsets. We will consider here again on our way south in a few months.

Stayed for a night on the transient dock. A bit tight for our 43’ sailboat but we managed fine enough. Property clean, free laundry and 2 washers and dryers, and 2 showers/bathroom with men and women doors with different combination locks. Restaurant right next door with pretty good food or take a water taxi across the water to another restaurant. Convenience store a short walk away with some tasty fare and great folks running it.
We draw 6’ and were allowed to wait the incoming tide to leave. We really appreciated that, especially as the boat was only 1 week new to us. Less unnecessary stress.
Will stay there again if needed on the way back north. Thank you for the relaxing stay. It was needed.
