Took our family dog to the vet in the morning and they said his levels were a little elevated but prescribed antibiotics and steroids as they thought it was a upper respiratory infection, and that same night he died.

They where amazing! My 17 year old cat has had some GI issues, I have taken her to two other vets, I wanted a follow-up before our drive north and couldn't get into one of the veterinarian we had seen. East west veterinarian was amazing! I called explained the situation and they got us right in with a cancelation, they where kind, professional and understanding. The doctor suggested an x-ray which we did, she explained what she saw and gave us options, I was braced for a very expensive visit only to find the cost was so much more reasonable that what I had been quoted. I definitely recommend this practice and will use them in the future should my fur baby need medical attention.

We've been snow birds for nine years. We typically travel with 2 small dog and recently we've added to adult cats to our happy home. we've been using East-West as our Florida Veterinarian since 2015 when we first arrived. Several years ago we had to euthanize one of our pups who was 16 and had developed a brain tumor. I can't imagine finding any Vet who would show more compassion and caring guidance in helping us and our beloved Graham go through this difficult time. We just did a visit to establish our kitties with East West and found the same wonderful care for our cats as we have always had with out pups. I just wish Dr. Emily would open an office in our home town in Virginia. But, that probably won't happen any time soon.

People are very friendly and kind. However, the doctor took my dog hunter in to check him out at 11 am as he had just started having issues this week with breathing issues, sneezing, and his eye started to pool blood in the iris. He said that he was a little worried, but we caught it at a good time and that he received 4 out of 5 stars for his report. And that vitals looked fine, and he had a respiratory infection with a bit of adema in the abdomen. We had reviewed his report when we got home, his heart rate was 150bpm AT REST, and his respiratory rate was 40pm. They prescribed him antibiotics and steroids and ignored the signs of the adema and the high heart rate and obscure vision.. later that evening he passed away at 6:30pm.. litterally 2 hours after him receiving his meds. called to see about returning the meds and request a refund as they may have completely misdiagnosed him or prescribed medication that could have been harmful to him. They charged me 342 dollars and only offered back 70 of it , and I'm sorry... DO YOUR RESEARCH FOR HERE before taking your pet here. I used to trust this place. I will never go back. There are similar reviews showing they did similar things to other beloved pets after new management took over. One specifically said they received similar medication and two hours later had a seizure after giving the pet the medication. Then two eeeks later it died.
