We rented a house from BMI in Oct/Nov of this year. Initially they seemed easy to work with but as we encountered issues at the house they pretty much brushed them off and said 'too bad'. We were working from the house much of the time we were in Florida. There was a lot of new home construction around us including directly across the canals. It was so loud it was hard for us to have conference calls during the day. The neighbor also played very loud music and even after asking her to turn it down she refused. We drove by one of BMI's other houses and noticed no construction going on in that area. So we asked if we could move to that house. They flat out said 'no' even though the house was vacant. The house also was not very clean at all - I ended up washing all the sheets and towels when we arrived as there were hairs on them. The floor didn't seem to have been vacuumed. There were no frying pans in the house - only pots (and poor quality ones at that). Lawn service never came once while we were there. We rented in Cape Coral in 2020 through a different company and had no issues at all with our house if any issue arose. I would never rent from BMI again. Unfortunately we rented directly with them and not via their VRBO listing so I'm unable to warn people about them on there.
