Staff is pleasant and helpful. We sign in, have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to get imaging done. Results are posted within 24 hrs on our personal Lee Health account.

Because I volunteer at this location, I feel certain of my analysis of this location. The Radiology Technicians that I am with during my volunteering are the MOST compassionate, kind, up-beat people I have ever met. These ladies truly CARE about every patient they x-ray. They take their limitations, feelings, and concerns to heart; every patient is treated as an individual. If they find a concern on their pictures, they FEEL great concern for that patient, personally. I have wittnessed them going into an x-ray saying "please, please, let it be nothing to worry about". I WANT this kind of person doing my own diagnosis, because I know they honestly care.

Surfside is so convenient, one-stop for my physician, labs and radiology. It used to be underutilized and easy to walk in and be out quickly. But it has gotten quite busy over the last couple years.

Im 29 and went in for a mammogram. They continued to say I was too young for one, which my insurance would cover and went ahead to do an ultrasound that was ordered instead and I had to pay upfront almost $400. During my ultrasound, I was already stressed because I have had terrible pain and swelling, my tech was very condescending and kept reminding me I was too young and that 30 is when we should be more worried. Im 29!! She made me feel like I was a kid complaining of a scraped knee. The doctor didnt even come to talk to me. The tech told me he remembered my scans from 6 months ago and how he asked for me to come get it checked again in 6 months to ensure there was no growth . You would think hed come explain things to me himself. Whether theres nothing to worry about or not, I just feel super defeated and not listened too.
