I have had a great experience with Robert Stockwell at Schuman Insurance agency. He is always looking at my best options while trying to save me a buck or two. Very good with communication as well. Highly recommend Robert!

My wife engaged the Schuman agency years ago to make sure her new but old home in Cape Coral had complete coverage for all perils. In addition to the standard home owners insurance she requested protection for her only outside structure, a dock at the time and she wanted to make sure she had hurricane coverage , both of which she paid extra for. FAST FORWARD: She was then shocked to discover after Ian that her insurance would not cover a fraction of the damage especially the Fema 50 rule tear down/rebuild costs where she is now forced to pay 100's of thousands out of pocket to deal with . Schumann agency reps never told her that her dock might not be covered and that the Fema 50 rule hanging over her property might prevent repair permits to be issued and could wipe her out. Huge front page disclosures at the very least. Very depressed and mad over the lack of disclosure by her agency that her $8,000 per year insurance might not cover the disaster she thought she was paying to protect against. What a shock to discover after all these years of paying dearly for protection that has failed her. Has anyone else had this experience?
