Mr H. / S ZWe understand not everyone is or can be our customer for various reasons.Leaving a bad review due to an estimate that was out of your budget on a repair we did not preform is odd. It is especially odd as we continued to have a 20 minute conversation about your ‘10 Silverado after the $429 estimate was given(PDR was $373.49,the rest was removal and reinstall of parts, shop supplies and tax). The photos you posted do not reflect the extent of your damage and we find that strangely convenient, as it is super easy to not show damage in a photo on a white vehicle, it’s called snow blinding. The damage on your right rear door is not nickel sized, the impact area is roughly 3in and the over all effected area is probably around 12inches’ish. Stop on back by and we would be more than happy to show that to you again.You informed us that you wanted a quote to submit to the shop that damaged your door for them to pay, to which we obliged.Our $429 repair quote is industry standard as we use a unified pricing software that most of the shops around the country use that preform PDR, the name of that software is MTRX. We also gave you a guesstimate of $1500 for your bedside and door together. Now we can not quantify repairs or repair quotes from other shops as we do not compete with anyone, we run our own race. Our PDR repairs cut no corners , we drill no holes, we take things apart and put them back together ,we reapply corrosion protection to the backside of panels (which your truck already has a rust issue)after we’re done working and we preform a pre and post scan of the vehicles to ensure everything is put back together properly.As mentioned earlier your door dent is not nickel size and the estimate we gave you broke everything down for you as to how the repair price was calculated. While no one and no shop is perfect we do strive to be the best, as evident in our national and international recognitions as an industry leader within the PDR community.What is baffling about this is that you would take the time to leave a 1 star review for a locally owned family business that you didn’t do any business with. You obviously liked talking with us because you stuck around for 20 minutes to talk more about your truck.Did you think we needed to repair your vehicle for free?? Did you leave a one star review for the shop that you told us had your truck for 3 months and gave it back to you with the damage on your right rear door???Be mad at yourself or whoever for damaging your vehicle not us for providing a repair estimate that you asked for. We didn’t just show up and knock on your door , you came to us.Scott the name of our business is not discount dents or good enough dent repair, it’s Factory Finish.Getting mad at us and posting a negative review about an estimate is like you leaving a bad review on a Lamborghini dealerships because the cost of a Lamborghini is out of reach for you, then complain that you can’t afford it.There is value in quality, that’s why luxury vehicle or fully optioned vehicles cost more.We are quality.So to anyone reading Scott’s review and our response ,we preformed no repair on his truck ,we only gave him an estimate.
