Hot food is never fully stocked - so much of the menu is never available and hasn't been since they started serving as Krispy Krunchy Chicken. And what IS stocked isn't usually actually made when we have stopped by. Shelved and cooler items are frequently months past their Best By dates and there are webs on the shelves. I would say go down the street to Marathon and grab Subway if I were you.

Not thrilled about eating Krispy Krunchy ChicKen (KKK) but when you're in a country area and have a craving for fried chicken....plus when it's the only hot food around to eat for miles....BUT the proprietor is a JERK.... seriously don't mess with American's' fried chicken...we invented it...store closes "whenever it wants"...I'm surprised the neighborhood hasn't taken issue with this place and the way it's run....the only convenience store for miles and it's not convenient. The owner gave me some B.S. so I said "keep your chicken" and "you'll never see me again". Stupid stupid stupid. I guess businesses in the area haven't heard of UberEats. It would employ people in the area and be easier for visitors.

About
Krispy Krunchy Chicken
Krispy Krunchy Chicken (KKC), founded in Louisiana in 1989, is a quick-serve solution for convenience stores, truck stops, universities, casinos, and big box retailers across the U.S.  Every piece of our chicken and tenders is marinaded in a proprietary mix of mild but oh-so-flavorful spices, then double hand-breaded and fried to golden perfection. We serve it with the best sides around and most every order comes with a little bit of crowning glory – a freshly baked biscuit, generously drizzled with pure honey goodness.
