Days Inn by Wyndham Brooksville/Dade City

Dirtiest rooms I've ever paid to stay in. Found cheap deal, didn't review or investigate. Bree at the front desk is a beautiful destination all her own. Foreigners do not speak English and will tell you all about it. Stayed 3 weeks, room not cleaned once. Borrowed cleaner from house keeper bulldog face day manager accused us of stealing and killed out reservation and threatened police should we return. Rooms: Hardwood floors, huge echo. Cockroaches. Phones in room are hit or miss. Housekeeping blocks up walkways with carts. Boycott for life.

I felt like I was staying at a Motel 6. Staff was friendly, but room is nasty. Please read other reviews and beware.

I stayed 2 nights, each in different rooms. My circumstances were odd, because had they not been, electing to stay here a second night would have been madness. Why? Let me list the reasons: the late night pool party, the hole in the wall roughly shaped like the head of a hammer, the strong mildew smell of both AC units, the toilet that constantly fills, the other toilet that rocks considerably, the windows that block no noise, the road noise, the noise of my neighbor which sounds like he's tapping two fingers on his elbow looking for a vein, the workmanship of placing quarter round molding without removing the sticker from the hardware store, the gouges and missing paint, the cockroach I found on the bed, the alarm clock that was set for 4:00 AM, the cold water that was always warm, the purely unpleasurable breakfast featuring exceptionally-processed "egg" rounds and sugary cereals, the unfriendly and aggressive night staff, the clothing tags I found in both rooms (one Playboy, one a high-vis vest), the ironing board with half its cover removed, and more I don't recall sitting uneasily in a chair that's probably been here since the late 90s. Edit: There was no hot water in the entire hotel the second night, and I concur with the majority sentiment of poor reviews here. "I need a place to stay," should come with the consideration of sleeping at a truck stop in your vehicle. Safety: Good during the daylight. Walkability: 1/10. It's a highway hotel. There's a grocery 10 minutes' walk away.
