We absolutely love our Steve Smith Home on the outskirts of Gainesville! We spoke with a few builders before choosing Steve and Karen. We found an idea of a custom home that we wanted to recreate in our own way, and they designed and built it phenomenally. Sometimes on the drawings we thought that the revisions could have been quicker, but the blueprints came out exactly to our vision. During the framing they made an adjustment that we wanted to change very late in the process. We were happy about that. There was extra builders dirt needed for the foundation because we are on top of clay, that had to be dug out, but outside of that, the costs of the build were right close to expectation. All cost changes were communicated to us in advance. We have never built a house before and at times didn't have the vision of it all coming together but living here now we can't believe how beautiful our house is and at an excellent cost compared to common Gainesville builders.
