First Watch

What can you expect from this First Watch? An environment that's usually too noisy to permit normal conversations. Food that is sometimes overcooked (e.g. fried eggs and bacon) and food that rarely looks like the photos shown on-line (e.g. Ham and Gruyere Melt is mostly bread). Coffee cups that have an oily residue on the inside. And being charged more than once for one small carafe of coffee that's shared by multiple people at the same table. (How many times will you pay for it? Once per person sharing the carafe. That's right, you'll pay $3.99 for each person sharing one carafe -- EVEN IF THE CARAFE IS NEVER REFILLED!) To be fair to this particular restaurant, this practice is probably common to all First Watch locations. This doesn't mean it's right, only that one location probably can't change how they charge for coffee. I get that, but I don't understand why each person who's drinking coffee doesn't get their own carafe. After all, it's a small carafe that usually contains no more than 3 cups of coffee, which means that a table with two or more people will frequently need to wait for refills.

Waitress was fantastic but my pancakes arrived at the table at room temperature. Coffee was $4 each!!!

Food has been getting less and less consistent. Ordered the farm house hash, received maybe one piece of bacon, barely cooked and chopped into thirds, the potatoes were half burned and the other half were barely cooked through, still crunchy in center, and the avocados are 3 paper thin slices and already browning. Place wasnt even busy either. This isnt even the first time its been this bad. Seems to be a bloomingdale thing as many restaurants around here have the same problem.
