Dr Brian Schmidt

Has to be the worst Dr Ive ever seen. Didnt care at all why I was there. I went back to the hospital and they didnt even have nice things to say about him. Like how are you still working when youve got the worst reputation? This doctor needs to do himself a favor and retire early because theres nothing but law suits coming his way. Hope you read these reviews!!

I would give him a zero stars but one is the lowest. I wanted to see him about my hernia, I was in a whole lot of pain. He wouldn't listen to what I said, wouldn't do any exam, just write on a tongue depressor that I should eat this Bran cereal. He had absolutely nothing to say after that and just dismiss me. Horrible person completely arrogant and did not care anything about me. Cared more about joking with the nurses. Ended up going to different surgeon who did my double hernia surgery right away!

I was taken to Blake via ambulance in September and needed to see a surgeon so Dr. Schmidt was consulted. He was absolutely AWFUL. He disagreed with my attending physician but didnt come to see me to explain anything. I was in the hospital for two days and he did not come to my room until I refused the surgery he scheduled before even meeting me. When I finally met him he was extremely condescending and pompous. I feel bad for the nurses who work with him. They called him multiple times for updates and he didnt respond. I wish I could give zero stars. Terrible doctor.
