        Dr Kumar was rude to me as I had answered a phone call prior to him coming in. I ended the call as quickly as possible but he thinks hes more important than you

        Dr Kumar is a brilliant surgeon as well as a kind and compassionate man. He is thorough and professional and truly listens as so many doctors do not. I had two previous TSRs on my left shoulder in Ohio and could not use my arm and was in constant pain. Since Dr. Kumar put in my new shoulder, I have full use of my arm. I have absolutely no pain and havent since a week after my surgery. His staff are excellent; professional and efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Kumar. For me, he gave my life back, which for years I thought would never be possible.

      Dr. Avi Kumar is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, fellowship-trained in shoulder and elbow surgery. He has been performing the reverse total shoulder replacement since 2004 when it was first FDA approved and has performed over 1500 total shoulders to date, with a success rate of greater than 90% based on patient satisfaction and function. Dr. Kumar has been a key opinion leader for medical device companies and is a selected Peer Reviewer for the Journal of Shoulder & Elbow Surgery. He has also received several U.S. Patents, and is currently working on a medical device for shoulder fractured which is being reviewed by the FDA.
