Lakewood Ranch Medical Group Primary Care - Rye Road

Ive had an appointment for March 7 with Dr Austen but was called 3 days ago by his office to reschedule because he was not going to be there. Ive called 3 times in the last 3 days and they dont return the calls. I even called the hot line for Lakewood Ranch Medical Group CEO and they never called back. Well bye bye to them. I found another PCP. Good luck to them.

I believe there is something illegal going on with their billing department. We switched doctors offices because we didnt want anything to do with this mess, and still cant get rid of them. I have left a ton of messages to, and have received ONE call. I asked for an itemized billing statement of the date of services and what is/isnt owed. Havent received any information except two more random bills when my Husband has not been to this office yo see Dr. Austin in months! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE!!! There is something illegal happening!

They are idiots!!! Cant refill a prescription in a timely manner or even at the correct pharmacy. Can not handle any real issues - will send to ER instead! You will wait 45 minutes just to be seen. A complete waste of time and lack of everything there. Will NEVER go back. Dont waste your time!!!

When left without a primary care physician I was referred to Dr. Austen by a family friend. Dr. Austen it is by far one of the best doctors I have had. He is attentive and listens to my problems and is very thorough on how to get me feeling better. I have never felt rushed out the door like other doctors and feel like he cares and Im not just another number. The staff has always been courteous and have always been prompt and helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. Austen and his team at the office.
