I really wish their hours were better, and that they're ATMs accepted both deposits and withdrawals. It seems this bank is very minimal on what it offers for its customers. And that's all Hancock Banks in the area. The hours is the biggest thing and the fact that they have no hours at all on Saturdays. Compared to other banks it is not exactly convenient Updated: March 27,2023 So for convenience, I've decided to close my account, I have to take care of an overdraft fee in order to do so and bring my balance to zero. Most of the payments is taken over the phone with a debit card, except for the remaining 37 overdraft fee to bring my balance to zero to close the account. I'm told by customer service over the phone that I need to go to the office and pay the balance there and close the account there. When I get to the bank to close the account, just the nick of time right before they close because their hours are very inconvenient for anybody that works to 3 or 4:00 in the afternoons, I am told that they can only accept cash to bring my balances zero and not my debit card from another bank which is a lot more convenient than theirs. I really don't understand what this bike really wants from me, and everything just seems to contradict itself and be a conundrum for banking and very inconvenient for anybody that needs a bank for any purpose. If I could give negative stars for Hancock Bank I would, cuz this is absolutely ridiculous.
