Stayed here for 4 days with a group of 10 of my friends. The golf & caddies were great, the rest was subpar. Ive been to a ton of golf resorts & Id say the price is very high here relative to the value: Examples: (i) Every round is expensive & caddies are $160/bag, (ii) Drinks are outrageously priced (i.e. $9/ High Noon). (iii) They have a 13 hole par 3 course under construction you can play and they whack you for $75 (should be an amenity at this stage). Another big issue is you so infrequently pass an area to buy drinks/food so you basically have to buy tons of drinks once or twice and carry the bag yourself the entire time in the heat. If youre going to charge so much, at least have stands all over/tons to cart people to sell stuff. I ate at every restaurant and the food is also subpar. The best two places to eat are: bar at the Black Course (Tuna Poke was amazing) & the coffee shop in the main resort for breakfast. Steakhouse wasnt good, Italian food was horrible (multiple of us got sick so Id avoid). Finally, this place is mired by weird rules that make the service below average. When you pay as much as it costs here, simple things like, if Im on Red Course (where the only food is deep fried everything) & want the Tuna Bowl from the Black Course, they should be able to call it in and bring it to you. They are paralyzed by bizarre policies. We joked that while the golf was great, it was basically a high end prison
