Paid a 40 table fee for a rope and rough running carb. Got a call they need 90 more to fix it needed a special order carb. It cost 175 new. Carb is only 25 new. Supposedly fixed rope and put new fuel filter and adjusted carb but it wouldn't run. Picked it up took home. Rope came right out 1st pull and no new filter. I installed rope and adjusted carb runs great. I could have done it all along but didn't want to mess with it and figured it would be a 40 fix max.

I recommend owner Bryan Hiller and his assistant Chuck at Hiller's Repair on Bonita Beach Road SE. Bryan operates his business with a straightforward all-American can-do approach that is sorely missing today. When many business owners these days will tell you why they CANNOT help you with your particular situation, Bryan will accept a challenge and use his store of knowledge and expertise to 'fix what's broken'. They only take cash, and I found the price to be fair; in fact, I added a sizeable tip in appreciation of Bryan's willing 'Let me take a look and see what I can do' approach. Do not be put off by the look of the business: an old open-fronted garage building with a dirt driveway out front. Bryan and Chuck are salt-of-the-earth type fair-minded guys with a fount of knowledge. Treat them with respect, and that is what you will get in return. Thanks for all your help and advice!
