My family & I have shopped at Norris Home furnishings for many years and have always been happy with what we purchased throughout the years. Kevin the salesman at the outlet store is amazing , he was very helpful and attentive to my needs, BUT on a side note I purchased a Palliser leather sofa in December after having the sofa for 3 months which was rarely used I began to have issues as far as the leather not holding up, the construction of this sofa was not holding up as far as the cushions springs etc. I called the store to have a representative come evaluate the condition of it which took several weeks for him to come take pictures and write up a report. I had also contacted the store Manager Luis Melendez sending him photos of the sofa as well. He & I communicated via email NOT once did he offer to replace the sofa as it is still under warranty. Then the company Palliser finally contacted me to tell me they would not REPLACE the defective sofa but they would order the parts, come pick up the sofa to basically in a nutshell remake my sofa by taking it completely apart by replacing the foam, boards etc. I then contacted Luis telling him this was unacceptable i was not allowing them to remake a sofa that I was told that was comparable to Natuzzi which it not at ALL . Mind you all of my communications were via email with the store manager, but this one day he decides to call me so its NOT in writing that in his words were they as a company were on the fence as to keep Palliser as a one of their products due to many complaints, he then told me he had sent all of our emails to the VP ( Doug Ulrich) to review and he would make this situation RIGHT and I would get a call from him that afternoon. I have called both stores left messages, sent emails to Doug & the owner with no return calls or emails whatsoever!! Here we are a year later the sofa looks like I have had it for years, arm cushions , seating areas have gotten worse!! Mind you it is only myself using this sofa, no small children around and I am by far not a large person at all . I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the manner this has been handled, they have just swept this issue under the rug per se hoping that I would just give up. Norris has always stood behind their products, but they have Definitely dropped the ball on this one. Also I was told this sofa retailed for $6,000.00 but buying at the outlet I did not pay that for it. I AM EXTREMELY UPSET as to how they as a company have literally NOT handled this situation! They got my $ and dont care apparently?! I did not want to have to go this far to get them to do the right thing and stand behind their products as they had in the past. This NEEDS to be resolved either give me my money back or give me another sofa. Where the hell did their customer service go?!!!
