We recently engaged Total Home Care for a bathroom renovation, and unfortunately, our experience has left us extremely dissatisfied. The lack of attention to detail throughout the project has resulted in a final product that falls far short of our expectations. The project began in May, and here we are in November, still trying to rectify the sloppy craftsmanship of this job.One of the most noticeable issues we encountered was the inconsistent spacing between tiles. The tiling job appeared rushed and haphazard, with uneven gaps that drew immediate attention upon inspection. The grout lines also were thick and overfilled, leaving uneven spaces near the baseboards. Additionally, we discovered crooked tiles that not only compromised the aesthetics but also raised concerns about the overall workmanship.The paintwork in our renovated bathroom was equally disappointing. Sloppy and careless, the paint was not confined to the intended surfaces. In addition, we left for vacation and gave them a key to complete the work.We also, very stupidly, gave them a key to our home while we were on vacation. We not only returned to our fence wide open, but also the backdoor unlocked and garbage all over the place (banana peels, silverware, take out containers, empty water bottles) as well as paint splatter on a brand new camping chair we purchased. (See photos). Upon our return, we found splatters of paint, empty water bottles, old lunch containers were discovered outside of our lanai, leaving us with an unexpected and frustrating cleanup task. (See Photos). When asked about why the area was not cleaned up, they said they didn't have a garbage bag. There was a garbage can a meer few feet away. I've never met a crew totally unprepared for a task from materials to experience.Throughout both bathrooms, the lack of precision in the paint application extended to the interior as well, with visible streaks and uneven coverage on the walls. They even splattered paint on the brand-new fixtures they installed and the tile on the new bathroom floor. (See photos)Furthermore, we were dismayed to find scrapes on our bathroom counters, indicating a careless approach to protecting existing fixtures during the renovation process. The negligence reached a critical point when we discovered that they broke a mirror they were removing. They failed to tell us about the broken mirror, leaving broken shards of glass for my 4-year-old to discover with her bare toes.The worst part is the flooring. We are left with completely uneven grout lines throughout each of the bathrooms. William told us he would be out to replace the tiles, but to this day we have yet to hear from him.In summary, our experience with Total Home Care's bathroom renovation was marred by a disregard for attention to detail. From uneven tile spacing and crooked tiles to sloppy paintwork, scraped counters, broken mirrors, and the project manager not properly overseeing the project, the overall result fell far below our expectations. We cannot recommend Total Home Care based on our experience, and we are left disappointed and dissatisfied with the quality of workmanship provided. What we would love is that they see this review and decide to rectify the situation. If so, I would love to edit this review, but honestly at this point, I'm not holding my breath.
