PenFed Credit Union

I recently opened a credit card account with This credit union. I received a $3000 balance but then I was told I had to submit my Social Security card, two paycheck stubs, my identification. I went ahead and did all of that to then get a letter in the mail that told me that my account was closed because they couldnt verify my employment and no other information was given when I called the customer service number I have never had to supply so much personal information for a credit card, especially with such a low credit limit. They told me that I could reapply and I told him no thank you I would prefer to go with someone thats more reputable and has better customer service.

Wow impressive how many bad comments. Today I have been trying to open an account with you and I couldn't do it. I spoke with an advisor and she had to do it even though I had to send documents. But I don't know how good this is with such negative comments for this bank. I would like to know what pent says about this bad reputation?
