Could be nicer, lots of trash. No way to launch an actual boat... Only kayaks canoes SUP. The next pullout is about 7 miles south. Heritage Park. As of 7/5/2023 there are 3 impassable snags... Well you can get by. Just not easily. Logs blocking way may or may not prevent your passage. Looks like an old meth lab or moonshine still exploded. Numerous blue food grade 55 gallon drums mysteriously discarded. Lots and lots and lots of trash...beer can, bottles, cups, empty plastic water bottles... Remember this is Polk County. The water is contaminated by Mosaic and the people that live here become slightly retarded from drinking it. Bring big Bubba to move snags and at least few trash bags. Current is too swift/ strong to do down n back...best experienced as float trip 7 miles... About 4 to 5 hours avg. Paddler. 0 others here, so be sure you are well prepared. Poor cell phone coverage here.

The dock was washed away by Ian. The remnants are about a quarter mile down stream. As of 2/9, the water level in this area is sufficient for kayaking.
