I am HIGHLY impressed with this company and their professionalism. I had some issues today with my septic and had been calling around to several places trying to find someone to urgently come assess and assist. No kidding, 10 minutes later a truck was in my driveway ready to help. The man was very kind and helpful. And the service was reasonably priced. I have nothing bad to say and HIGHLY recommend using this business!!! Service: Drain cleaning

I was spoken to extremely rudely/talked down to over the phone and he didnt follow through with what he said hed do. The reason I even needed to call Arnett: My new neighbors and I were trying to figure out exactly where their drain field ended, as I had been told by the previous owners it crossed over onto our property after I installed a fence along the legal boundary line and they came to the realization their understanding of the end of their property had been wrong for years. The previous owner said *I* needed to make everything legal between our boundaries (since I guess me putting a fence up made me at fault for their misunderstanding), so I got the ball going by hiring a lawyer last fall to figure out exactly where the septic tank & drain field was. Unfortunately, the matter didnt get resolved before the previous owner sold the property last month and I got new people next door. The lawyer couldnt find the permits, and other than a hand drawn sketch from when it got installed, there was no further documentation available so I was asked to get with the new owners (who were aware of the situation) to get their septic mapped out. They had just had Arnett out to recertify their septic prior to closing and asked me to call Arnett on our mutual behalf, since they had a lot going on and Im just a retired veteran/stay at home mom with the extra time to make said calls. The phone call did not go well and was zero help. He dismissed anything I had to say and sounded offended by my questions. He insisted the drainage field was fine; that it was at least 20ft from the boundary, but that is most definitely NOT true. He was referring to a tree line which is not the legal boundary line between our properties, and he cut me off when I tried explaining such. He quoted me $450 to come map the neighbors septic, which I would obviously need to talk to the neighbors first. Then he blurted out he knew our 2 properties very well (I cant recall if he said their company installed both properties septics or not) and snarkily said you know what, I think *your* drain field might go on *their* property. Okayyyy, dude. What a weird flex for absolutely no reason. For further background context, the previous owners and I compared surveys a couple of years ago after I put in the fence that started this whole mess, and they matched. The tree line was not the legal boundary that they had wrongly assumed it was. Thats when they made the septic location issue known to me. The online legal description of our respective properties also matched our surveys, and we each got NEW surveys, by different companies, because they didnt want to believe it which also confirmed our property lines were the exact same. Heck, part of my job in the 20 years I was in the military involved being able to read maps accurately. So the rude insistence I didnt know what I was talking about while on the phone with Arnett was quite unnecessary. While on my call with Arnett, he said where I could find the diagrams online, but that hed also send the new neighbors a diagram of the septic drain field since he had just been there. Its been weeks and theyve yet to receive that from him. The online website also did not hold those plans, despite our emails and phone calls to various people. The only thing in existence is the hand drawn sketch, which does depict the neighbors drain field as being in violation of the Dept of Health/Florida law for a septic tank system to remain at least 5ft from a property line adjoining private property. The lawyer showed both the new neighbors and myself where it went over, according to the sketch. To put an end to this whole dumb thing, we agreed to have the lawyer draft a letter of use agreement between us to cover us/our respective properties legally in the future. Im shocked at the conduct and unprofessionalism of Arnett over the phone, but I am absolutely floored that this whole thing was ever allowed to happen in the first place.
