    MJ assisted me with drafting contracts with an architect. I am in the process of trying to build a home, and this is my first time trying to do this. And so I needed a specialist to ensure that I was covered and also that the contractor was covered, or in this case, the architect was covered both financially and legally, so that if there were any issues, we would be able to exit the relationship amicably. Before I employed MJ, my situation was a mess because I was not sure what the contract should entail. That's when I reached out to MJ to review the contract that the architect sent and update the contract with my concerns. And it was a perfect process, in my opinion. The main problem it was causing was just the additional stress of not knowing whether or not in the future, if something happened, what could go wrong, or whether or not if I decided to change my mind, what the process would be to back out. So I reached out to a high school friend who lives in Florida who's a lawyer and asked them if there was a contract specialist that she knew. And then she referred me to MJ. And that's how our relationship started. Honestly, it was the first consult with MJ. Some of the additional questions that she asked made me think of some additional scenarios that I did not imagine in my mind, and just doing that made me confident that she understood where I was trying to go. I would describe simply legal service as 21st-century service, modern. Everything was done fast and electronically, which I would prefer, unless I need to sign a document, I prefer to do it electronically because it's just quicker and less travel. And the communication was rapid. Every concern and question was answered thoroughly and quickly. I was expecting some type of negotiation period, but there wasn't. It was a fair and balanced contract, which is what I was looking for. That meant I was not blowing my budget. And it enabled me to be under budget for the contract phase of what I budgeted so that money gets tossed to the architect. It made me feel great like I made a good decision.     At the beginning of this year, we got a new house which is an Airbnb. The accountant suggested having it as an LLC. We realized that the other rental house we have also needed an LLC. Before that, we were not protected. We didn't know, but we were exposed to potential legal problems, specifically with guests. With the other house we have for long-term rental we were exposed to potential legal issues with the tenants. We decided to talk to Maria Jose and add an LLC for each house. Our accountant referred MJ. He said, I know someone who can help you with that. You have two properties and she will be helpful. Since the first time I had the meeting with Maria Jose, I found out that she was the person to work with. One of the reasons was that she speaks Spanish so we were speaking the same language and that helped to develop the relationship. During the discovery meeting, she asked me different questions to understand the objective that we had. She was thinking not just about changing the documents we needed, but she was trying to understand the project. That was so important for me that she was not thinking about just changing the documents and that specific service, but she was thinking beyond that and our future needs. Since the beginning of the first email and meeting, they showed me that I can rely on the service. The follow-up is very impressive. They are requesting the meetings and the documents and the responses are pretty fast. Each property now has an LLC and is protected. Our Plan is to buy more properties. Right now we're looking for a house at Ocala and now we know that we need to open the LLC first. So that we do the closing under the LLC. And the idea is to then have all properties under a trust.
