The reason the shoe stores put the shoes up for so much is because they need to make more than what they payed for, lets say that they buy a shoe for 120 and they put it up for 230 the shoe stores are trying to make money. Every shoe store is the same and if you look on the market it would obviously be cheaper but in store it would be more expensive cause they have to make a profit.

I'm a big sneaker head and when I saw the prices at this store it was astonishing on how much they charge on some shoes that I already have and have gotten for nearly half what they charge.
