Hide-A-Way Harbor RV Park

Wonderful quiet place right on the chain of lakes in central Florida! Lisa the hostess is the nicest lady and many full timer RVers who live there are quite friendly and helpful as well. The park is very small so you get to know your neighbors quickly. The sunsets are beautiful. And you can fish from your back lot! Within 5 miles from a grocery store or 1 mile from a convenience store but still off the beaten path. If its peace and quite you are looking for this is it. A fishermans paradise.

We were fortunate to stay at this small quiet RV park for an entire week. The park is well kept and very welcoming. And I must add that the seasonal RV'ers were very friendly and accommodating. I would totally recommend this park.

super peaceful tranquil location. gas station and dollar general within a mile. shower, bathroom, laundry available. Lisa and Albert helped me out a ton this day, even when we were arriving late. helped us with the setup and Lisa even gave us a ride to dollar general when we only asked where it was cus we were planning to walk! lovely neighbors too, nice and quiet. it's a good spot if you want to be away from all the hustle and bussle of people. We had a great time and we will definitely come back here next time we're in Florida!

We just spent a wonderful week here and loved it. We had site 14, which is one of the three lakefront sites and my husband could just walk out the door and fish. The people are so nice, it feels like family and its a very quiet place. Lisa Lucente, the manager, is an absolute gem. She is always riding around in her golf cart making sure everyone is doing well. She even brought us treats and a loaf of fresh bread one night. I agree with another guest who mentioned she should be compensated well! She is a wonderful manager and they are very blessed to have her. We did our laundry there and its very affordable and super clean. There are no amenities you might find in some of the fancier places but we were not looking for that! I recommended the spaces on the lake or on the canal. We saw some incredibly sunsets each night. I would certainly come again. Now we go back to winter!
