I initially found Scott at Earth Immersion through a Google search after moving to Florida and did my cavern and intro to cave with him. I had such a great time I went back to complete my Full cave, Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedure courses with him. He has fair pricing and great training. He shares his real world experiences to provide justification for his methods but he also doesnt force his style on you, he is willing to communicate and discuss different methods of doing things provided theres good rationale for it. Scott went above and beyond my expectations and I would highly recommend him for scuba training at all levels!

I have now trained with Scott at Earth Immersion twice. First for my intro to cave, and now as I just finished my Full Cave certification. Scott is one of the most professional and friendly instructors I have worked with. He holds you to a very high level of training and creates fantastic divers but is also relatable and extremely pleasant and fun to be with and dive with. There is never a dull moment! I cant recommend Earth Immersion enough to anyone from open water all the way to technical diving! Thank you so much Scott I look forward to diving with you again!! You have been absolutely amazing!

I did a great deal of online research before settling on Earth Immersion, and I'm glad I did. I did not want a large class, nor did I want to just get pushed through and thrown in the water at a resort. I wanted a slow (to make sure I was actually LEARNING, not just nodding along), careful, & safe experience, which is exactly what I got. Scott scheduled plenty of time for me to complete my online course work, and checked in regularly leading up to our two-day physical training/testing. Both days were packed with info and action, but I never felt rushed or as though anything was skipped over. The first day consisted of reviewing the test materials, paying particular attention to my incorrect answers to assure I understood the material, followed by a thorough introduction to every piece of equipment we would be using, as well as some we didn't, going over pros, cons, and options. We didn't get into the water, Fanning Springs (which was an amazing place--really grateful I was able to learn in such a stunning natural location rather than in a pool), until afternoon. I was a bit nervous, but felt I was in very good hands and was never once actually afraid. Second day, at Manatee Springs, we reviewed everything I'd learned from the previous day, and got a lot more water time in. The sections here were deeper, and Scott ran a line that I was able to follow in order to be able to concentrate on what I was doing rather than where I was going. Great technique. I had a small setback, mistaking the In valve for the Out valve (eeek), but Scott went over my thinking (or lack of), and what I could do differently (here's a tip: don't do that), but most importantly, he helped me get over it quickly, recover my confidence, and get back down there. Went through 2 tanks on that second day, and went home safe, elated, and excited about this new world that's now open to me. I'm 53 and this is something I've wanted to do since I was a teenager. I'm glad I finally got there, and truly appreciate the opportunity to have learned with Earth Immersion. Highly recommend for knowledge, experience, teaching ability, and safety. If you're thinking of it, take the step and do it! Thanks so much for everything, Scott!
