Had the ribeye steak. Would have ordered something else had I known it would be smothered in peppercorn. It wasn't for me. If you don't mind the taste, then this place is for you.

The food is good. We ordered a meal and the server rattled out the sides and didn't explain that there is an ugrade price on sides. So there was an extra charge for sides which were charged at $2.80 per side. Be prepared to be nickel and dimed in this new type of menu pricing.

Five of us had dinner tonight. We did not get off to a good start. The salads were fine but when the steaks came, every one of them was wrong. My husband had the New York strip, and it was rare but he ordered it medium rare to medium. One daughter ordered her filet medium and it was raw. My son-in-law ordered a filet Medium rare, but he had a tendon running through it and it was rare. My other daughter ordered her filet medium well, but it was very well done. I ordered the filet Medium rare with no seasoning, but it was rare. When they took the steaks back and fixed them My daughter ended up with my filet with no seasoning, and I ended up with hers and it was overcooked. It sounds like a mess but Chris, the manager, came out and figured out what was wrong, and went in the back and remade everybodys himself. When he brought them back, they were delicious, cooked exactly right and the potatoes were fantastic. On top of that, he brought out desserts for all of us and what started out is a bad night left all of us loving dinner and we will definitely go back. Chris is a fantastic manager and I think thats what makes Longhorn so good. A manager can make or break a restaurant And he went above, and beyond to make sure we were all satisfied and happy.
