Desmond was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. I really felt like he was fighting for me. He stuck in there through the long process of helping me buy a home through DC's Home Purchase Assistance Program. I felt like he was on top of things and always knew the next step to take. He was also very kind and listened to me. As a first time homebuyer he was more than patient with me, navigating me away from financially bad choices and towards good investments. I really relied on Desmond for his expertise in the DC real estate market. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Desmond, and I love my new to me home! I'll definitely work with Desmond if I ever decide to sell, rent, or buy again!

We loved working with Des! He really went above and beyond to help us purchase our first home, making the whole thing stress free and even fun. He expertly guided us through every step, answered our many questions, steered us away from making poor choices, and educated us about the process and the market so well that when we found the right home we were ready to strike. At the start, we knew we wanted a home, but didn't know exactly what kinds of things (yard, floor plan, specific location, etc.) we really valued. Des was great at teasing out what we wanted when we couldn't articulate it ourselves. In the end, we were able to find the perfect fit. He was also fantastic when it came down to negotiations and the final nitty-gritty - it was so reassuring to have Des in our corner. Des was absolutely wonderful to work with & I highly recommend him! I worked with him to sell my beautiful condominium in Washington DC. It was a home I had both lived in and rented out, and a place that I had strong emotional attachment to. He helped me think through the pros and the cons of selling and when I decided to sell, he managed the entire process professionally, efficiently and with the sensitivity I sometimes needed. I had great confidence in his knowledge of the market, his recommendations on the selling price point and timing for listing. Once listed, we had an offer within a week and closed 3 weeks later. Of note, I was not in the DC area for the majority of this process, and he handled everything. He was communicative via email, texts and check-in calls throughout the process. It was a huge blessing to have Des manage this the listing, selling, and closing process.

Whoever said that you cant do business with a friends does not know Des. He really helped to guide me through the process of my first condo, and was so, so competent at not only addressing but alleviating my fears and trepidations about homeownership. In working with Des, I felt heard. I told him no basements and no Murphy beds, and guess what. He didnt show me any basement units or units with Murphy beds. We had a couple disagreements about places that I liked, but that was because his expertise coming out, and he was looking out for my best interests he wasnt just trying to sell me the first thing that caught my eye. In the end we found the perfect first home for me. In short, what else can I say other than I would absolutely work with him again in the future.

We (my wife and I) could not speak more highly of Des, and our home-hunting, and subsequent home-buying, experience with him. This was our first time buying a home, so needless to say, we had many questions about the entire process. Not only did Des answer every question we had, but he walked us through the reasonings and any alternate solutions he could think of. He was patient with us, worked hard to understand what we wanted, but was never afraid to steer us in a direction that he thought would be beneficial for us. He responded to everything very promptly, and was a consistently phenomenal resource. We highly recommend Des to anyone looking to buy or sell a home, experienced or not!
