A truly five star experience!! Working with Alyona on my shoot was great - she made me feel comfortable and relaxed before the camera, and brought my vision to life! The photos were gorgeous and even better than what I was hoping for. Alyona is an extremely talented photographer and has an incredible eye for details. She takes the time, care and effort into collaborating 1:1 with her clients to make sure that they get exactly what they are looking for and love their photos. Alyona helps with planning all of the details of a shoot (themes, looks, colors, makeup, etc.), explains the process beforehand, makes shoot day a breeze with her warmth and expertise, and produces amazing portraits. This was the second time I got a chance to work with Alyona. She is probably the best photographer I have worked with. It feels that she has been studied you a lot and sees you through like an X-ray. She is extremely professional and knowledgeable. I am super happy with the result and cant wait to our next session. Thank you, Alyona! Without no doubt I would recommend Ms. Vogelmann to anybody. I LOVED this photoshoot, from start to finish! I had been looking a for a photographer to do my 40th birthday photos and I'm so glad I got to work with Alyona. I truly felt this was more than a photoshoot - it was an experience - so memorable and worthwhile. All in all, I think it took about three months from the initial phone call to product in hand (mine took longer due to my schedule constraints). There was very personalized attention and great care to make sure my creative concepts came to life. I sat down with her personally, we tossed around ideas, she gave me feedback on what looked great (and what didn't). I picked several looks, but my favorites were the "star wars senator", black and white headshots & a vintage world traveler look. During the photoshoot, she showed me how to pose to best flatter your figure, helped me feel confident throughout the entire process, and was so very considerate and hospitable. The stylist she recommended was a lovely person, too, and in her own right, knocked my hair&makeup out of the park. The reveal was fantastic, steps to order portraits, and putting the finishing touches on the photos. I felt so glamorous throughout the entire day of the shoot! The final product was beautiful - I ordered a photobook and put in some of my favorite poems, since I wanted it to capture who I was as a person and where I'd been in my life. With her input, it ended up looking like a storybook (her brilliant idea). I look at my photobook and I feel very proud of the person I've become, which was exactly what I wanted. I've since recommended her to several friends of mine, who love her work as well. She understood how important this was for me, which I think is very rare these days. I appreciate her passion for her craft and her intrinsic desire to ensure her clients are over the moon. I love her process, her responsiveness, her love for her profession. I would do it all again!
