On Friday, July 19, 2019, while in the presence of campers/dreamers, two of our counselors were involved in an altercation with one another. Our culture here at GOODprojects does not condone physical confrontation as a method to resolve situations. We are presently conducting an investigation to gain the appropriate outcome. We apologize for the events that have occurred and we assure safety to all campers/dreamers going forward. Please let me know if you have questions.

This summer we serviced 200 youth at no-cost to them or their parents. In doing so, we were committed and willing to take the risk in hiring representatives of the community in which we served. Any incident that occurred was handled swiftly and with a restorative justice approach.We pray that as we have been willing to work with the community when situations like this occur, given the nature of our work, we ask that our community be willing to work with us. We have learned from the situation and continue to be committed to hiring representatives from the community. We will improve on trainings of said individuals an be back next summer bigger and better than ever. Thank you.
