WIFV is one of the most valuable organizations for any filmmaker in the DC area. They have an insanely valuable listserv that goes out to over 900 members. I've gotten jobs from the WIFV listserv for the last 20 years. WIFV helped launched my career and continues to help it grow years later. I can't recommend WIFV enough!!!

Been a member several years. They are mostly very nice people. At the last party, I encountered a Militant WIFV. She was VERY insulting. It was a disturbing & mildly traumatic experience. Came home & wrote my Resignation Letter.

WIFV is a great organization. When I first moved to DC, the first professional advice I got was to join WIFV and I would not have as successful a career had that not happened. I think every single job I got before I went freelance, I found on the WIFV listserve. Its a great resource and a great group of people!

I've been an active member of WIFV for several years. During that time I've met so many industry leaders, filmmakers and new friends. It is a great group that does a lot to advance the filmmaking community in the mid-atlantic area. They also have a great podcast!
