Foxhall Internists has taken care of my family for 20 years. I have a painful (head throwing) and itchy scalp condition , and wanted to make an appointment to obtain prognosis - thinking it is severe psoriasis. When I called the office, I was asked if it were an emergency , I replied no. Then I provided what information I could and asked for an on -call Dr to call back for an appointment. A woman by the name of Dr Saleh called and I was appalled by her abruptness in that she couldn't wait to get rid of me on the phone, accusing me of calling an emergency when I specifically said to the operator that it is not an emergency. If it were I call 911. Dr Saleh was rude, disrespectful, and said that Foxhall Internists does not handle these kind of problems. I asked whether I called the correct Office and she became belligerent. My family has only known helpful physicians at Foxhall, and Dr. Saleh is not of the caliber of the respected Doctors at Foxhall Internists, and clearly has no intention of being helpful nor is she a team member.
