    Loved the place and location, but stains were on the couch that were visible once you pulled the bed out. The keyless entry system was a task. Customer service and staff were fairly disappointing.

    I stay here on almost a weekly basis and I LOVE it!! This is the most beautiful and comfortable accommodation in DC! The furniture is modern and the rooms are always super clean! And I love the location -- only 5 minute walk to Union Station. Highly recommended! Rooms: Emacuately clean with modern and beautiful furniture. Nearby activities: Very central. Safety: Very safe and secure. Walkability: Walking distance to Union Station, Capitol, Starbucks, grocery, pharmacy, restaurants, cleaners etc. Food & drinks: Restaurants and grocery nearby.

    This company preys on scamming their customers. Horrible communication and customer service. I stayed at the Revel with my family. The bed frame was broken, so we had to place the mattress on the floor. I immediately called to notify them but they were unable to get it fixed within the 3 days we were there. I asked for compensation back due to not being able to sleep in a bed, instead sleeping up against the fridge since that was the only place the mattress would fit on the floor. They offered $150 offbasically 10% off! Im pretty sure the going rate for sleeping on the floor is not over $300 night! This took over 15 phone calls over 2 months to get this response! They dont care about you or your comfort!

    Rooms: The rooms are spacious and average in terms of cleanliness. There were some stains here and there. You have all the necessary utensils and appliances in the house besides a welcoming gift that contains cleaning detergents, tissues, tea bags and coffee. Safety: Safety level is high since the doors, even the the door to the main lobby, are locked and use a keyless unlocking system only activated for residents of the building. Food & drinks: There is no restaurant inside but you can order through Uber Eats or from the restaurants around. Noteworthy details: The check-in process was complicated for me especially since you do not get personal guidance once you arrive on how to use the keyless system. You just find yourself standing in front of a device you maybe see for the first time and need to follow the detailed instructions sent in like 4 or 5 emails to help you with this. I also encountered 2 issues during my stay the first was that the information provided to me for the wifi was not working and on the second day of my stay, the code to my apartment door stopped working. When I had the wifi issue I approached the receptionist and was told they do not work for REVEL specifically so if I have any problems I have to call customer care myself. I had some issues with my phone at that time and was unable to call so I had to look for an email to email them at. They responded within an hour but it was an inconvenient process. I was given wifi login information different than what was provided to me when I checked in. Then for the door code fortunately the receptionist gave me a temporary code that worked. The customer service responded to my email after 24 hours although I labelled it as urgent. To be fair they apologised for all this mess and offered a late checkout and a 10% discount on my next stay as compensation.
