Location was great, room was fine. Small with a mini/fridge, safe and one cup coffee pot. No closet but an area to hang clothes. Tub did not drain but we did not bother to report it. Front desk staff was nice. Had a few interactions and for the most part they were responsive but it was really luck of the draw on who was working. We enjoyed the gym. It was small but had a great selection of equipment. The on-site restaurant staff was rude, unfriendly and slow. Ordered a coffee one morning and a beer another evening. Two different employees and both seemed to care less about providing a little bit of good customer service. That was the last dollar I spent there. They offer valet or parking in a secure garage around the corner. It was clear there were a lot of break-ins on the street by all the shattered glass. We were nervous about leaving our vehicle overnight on the street but we had no issues. We felt safe walking in the evening to/from the sights, restaurants and bars.

Staff is extremely rude. Rooms are small. Check-in process was painful as staff stated they are short staffed - not unusual these days. Lady at check-in desk new and instead of getting the correct answer, she was simply making up answers to guest questions. At coffee counter in back, I asked if the thermos of premade coffee was complementary. Lady says NO! and as I walk away, she begins to laugh. As Marriott Lifetime Gold Elite and currently Platinum Elite members who travel often, we will not be staying at this property again. Plenty of other options in the DuPont circle area that are similarly priced with nicer hotels and better trained staff.

Excellent location! Excellent Marriott service. Clean, bright rooms. Large standing shower, desk, two large queen beds, television with cable. Cafe and bar downstairs. Mini Mart. Valet parking.

It is in the middle of DuPont circle . It is clean and very good rooms. You can walk to most locations of interest. A lot of good restaurants are close by . The price is reasonable for the location. We came for cherry blossom! Students are from k-12 . They had wonderful time and experience!!!
