ARC HOTEL Washington DC, Georgetown

Spacious rooms, were a party of 2 and the size is excellent for the both of us and our shopping. Location is great walking distance from many places and the metro station is 3 mins away. Clean place. Very pleasant staff, they gave us cookies upon check in!

1. Heat didn't work until the last night of my stay. I later found out that the hotel controls ALL the heat/air and that they had it set on AIR ONLY until customers complained and then they turned the heat on. For reference, it was in the 40s outside! 2. NO restaurant and the little area they call a "snack bar" was a joke. $5 for a normal size candy bar????!!?!? They should be ashamed! 3. Asked to have a cab ready at 7am for my return trip to the airport. At 7.05am I was told the cab driver called to cancel. Never heard of that happening but even so, at that point they could have immediately requested another cab but they didn't. 4. Chromecast didn't work 5. There was an option to checkout using TV but it was unavailable. 6. Elevators are small and slooooow 7. There's only ONE ice machine and it's on the top (8th) floor. How inconvenient especially when the elevators are so slooooow. 8. Mattress felt like sleeping on cardboard. The only upside was that the room was clean and I didn't feel like I would take any critters (bedbugs) home with me. I will never stay there again!

Great location right next to Metro on GW campus. Michelle and th breath of the staff absolutely top notch. Great value given location. Highly recommend. Food & drinks: Convenient sandwiches, candy, water, Gatorade, etc for sale right in lobby ...perfect solution if trip is focused more on monument hunting than restaurant eating
