They have NO CARE for their clients. If i did not have a caring person looking after me, I would find another agency to give my money to. I would not recommend this agency to look after my dog

Berhan Home Healthcare is an awful place. The Director, Barbara Foley lacks self awareness with how she is experienced as being quick to place doubt and blame on the customer without taking accountability for the staff's unprofessionalism. She is disconnected and clueless about who she has on staff and displays a lack of genuine concern for situations. She is also very rude and instead of just hearing out the frustration of the customer and effectively managing the conversation, she will hang up on you. In addition, the Staff Coordinator, Ms. Evelyn is not responsive with handling staff issues. There was a home aid Ms. Emmiliane who did not show up for 2 days. I called Ms. Evelyn to let her know and there was no follow up to address the situation. This homeaid was supposed to also perform the light housekeeping as she said she did. However, when I went to visit my mom, her apartment was filthy and the trash can was infested with maggots. The laundry basket was also full to the top which let me know she had not done laundry as she stated she did. There was also a previous home aid, Kehinde Dare that apparently went to visit my mom on her own volition after she was no longer assigned to her and she pocket dialed me by mistake. I overheard her talking bad about my mom to a neighbor, saying she stinks, that no one will want to put up with her and sharing mom's personal businesses that she was going with a different agency. This was very unprofessional and there was obviously no regard for confidentiality or respect for my mom. I really thought she cared, but she obviously did not. If I were you, I would not refer your family here. The ratings from patient's families are low, their services are poor and the management puts up with bad behavior from their staff.
