Shake Shack 14th Street Logan Circle

I put in my order and went to my car and waited for the text message I never received when I went back to the restaurant to check on my food they told me it was ready and it had been sitting out the whole time they looking at me like I had two heads as if I was supposed to eat my food cold I would not recommend this location at all.

Located on a corner of 14th Street, right across from a bus stop, easy to get to either on foot or public transportation. Self ordering kiosks are easiest to use. There are at least three of them and you can order at the counter, as well. There's a large dining area, but the food is cooked to order so it's still hot if you take it back to the hotel if you're near by. It's a chain, it wasn't the best I've had of shake shack, but it was hot and fast.

Placed an order online, it was a Friday night so I did understand that they were really busy and my food was not finished within the time the app stated, waited 25 extra minutes. The employee working the counter asked my name 3 times, no problem, I gave it three times. Then when I saw a bag that appeared to have my name on the receipt, I went to check and indeed the bag next to the register was my name, so I took it, to which the employee at the counter said "hey! You don't just take food from the counter! What's your name!" Which I told her and she allowed me to leave. This in front of about 15 other guests. Very embarrassing and uncalled for. I think next time I'll go in the other direction to five guys for my burger craving.
