I am coming to Dr. Watkins after having an old friend in California as my dentist for a while. It is great that I enjoy the same trust, professionalism, and comfort as before! Dr. Watkins is taking care of my problematic teeth and I feel like I am getting the Lamborghini of dentistry -- that is, a perfect chewing machine and great care that make me excited and adventurous to try new sticky, crunchy, and acid foods. I am also very indebted to Smiles Internationals staff for their guidance, kindness, skills, and very prompt assistance.

I came to Dr. Watkins at the recommendation of a friend to fix a crown that had fallen out after another dentists did not cement it properly. I am impressed with his work.

A dentist myself, I waited 20 years to find the right person to replace bonding on a front tooth with a crown. The bonding was a poor color match with my natural teeth and I wanted to close the gap between my two front teeth. Dr. Watkins exceeded expectations under high pressure circumstancesthe crown was delivered just weeks before my wedding! Dr. Watkins provided helpful and informative (technical) explanation(s) prior to performing the required or designated dental procedure. My procedure was completed in a straight forward; workman like manner with satisfactory results...impressive !

This practice is basically all bells and whistles and no substance since the real master died several years ago, Dr. Daniel Sullivan. Not only was some of the work I had performed in this office over the years by the remaining "dentist" of questionable execution, but issues with their work have surfaced and impacted me at this current time. They also refused to give me my records without charging a fee stating "we have your signature, you already picked them up". Now, I went to the practice for over 10 years and this is how they treat a patient. After I left the practice, for what I consider their unscrupulous internal business practices with a partner, I may have signed for release and took the records. However the point is, given my years with the practice, I would have anticipated a more customer centric approach. There are fabulous dentist in the DC Metro area, find one that does great work AND has the customer at the center of their practice.
