My dentist referred me to Dr. Stanard. I have had periodontal problems for most of my life. Now at age 73, I have severe bone loss and receding gums. Bleeding gums, bad breath, loose teeth, and tooth loss were growing problems. Dr. Standard was masterful in stabilizing the situation and putting me on a regimen to improve hygiene going forward. An expensive procedure that was not covered by my insurance was tooth alignment. I found it to be worth every penny in improving my bite with the remaining teeth. What makes Dr. Stanard outstanding is his detailed explanation of the procedures and providing options. I appreciated his efficiency in doing the deep cleaning and gum repair with minimal pain. I recommend him highly.

Ive been going to Dr. Stanards office for a few years now and cant recommend him enough. He is very knowledgeable and caring. Yes, he might say you dont want to hear (he is a periodontist, so if you are seeing him is for a non-fun reason) but hell give you his honest and professional opinion for the best long term results. Ive seen various periodontists in the past who clearly cared more about profiting than myself and offered expensive treatments and surgeries that were not going to last. Im happy I trusted Dr. Stanard who I now visited regularly for prevention mostly. I also love the hygienist: Siobhan Kelleher, who is the best in her field! So calm, delicates, and throughout with her cleanings. Five starts!
